Let me tell my story how I get into a healthy relationship with coffee.
I got my first encounter with coffee when I was 12 years old. My mother used to drink it but she told me that it is not good for young kids. Later one day I asked me if I have a taste which she agreed. It felt different, in a good way, maybe because it was my first time tasting coffee. My first impression of coffee turned out good. Soon I wanted to drink coffee, so my mother agreed to let me drink at least coffee once or twice in a month.
When I was 13, me and my family had a trip to Germany. While we were in Berlin, we had stopped at café. When it happens to my order, I ordered coffee and the waitress told me that you are only allowed to drink coffee at least you are over 15. After that particular time, I had stopped drinking it.
Until my parents bought De’Longhi which was an espresso machine with a cappuccino maker when I was 16 years old and that’s how I fully felt in love with coffee. Firstly, I drank my coffee with lots of milk and 3 cubes of sugar. At first, it was tasty and relaxing until my mother warned me that it is too much sugar which is not good.
When I was 17, I would drink coffee every day and I’d still drink it with 3 cubes of sugar because that’s the only way that I love it. Soon I get into an addiction because If I do not drink coffee for a day, my body would need it so I stopped drinking and tried to replace it with water and fruit smoothies which were a good idea and also my coffee machine had stopped working.
Now I am a youngster and I know what to use and know the limit of the certain things. If you use certain things for much it will cause some serious problems. Due to my years back, there was a time that I used to drink coffee to lower my anxiety and stress but it is a bad idea. Instead of hurting your healthiness, we should talk to people who are close to you about the problem.
I drink 1500 ml of water every day alongside healthy foods and fruits. Due to being healthy, 1 cup of coffee is not going to affect a healthy person.
I drink a cup of coffee a day and I drink it with milk and 2 cubes of sugar (3 to 2, a big change for me ) and that’s the way I love it.
